FAQ

About the Products

It's your full flavour base — the spices, aromatics, and regional masala blend — already ground, cooked, and packed. You add fresh meat or vegetables, follow the simple steps, and get a proper South Indian dish in 20–25 minutes. No grinding. No roasting. No guesswork.

The Paste is your flavour base — you source the rice, meat, and other ingredients yourself. The Kit includes everything except the meat: the paste, seeraga samba or basmati rice (450g), whole spices, and a recipe card. Buy the Kit when you want zero planning.

No. Masala powder is a generic spice blend. Our pastes are region-specific cooking bases — built for one dish, one flavour profile, one style of cooking. Ambur tastes like Ambur. Nellore tastes like Nellore. That's the point.

The pastes and kits themselves are vegetarian. You choose what protein or vegetable to add. Most products work with chicken, mutton, or vegetables — the product page specifies which combinations work best.

Cooking & Usage

Heat oil, add the paste, cook for 2–3 minutes, add your meat or vegetables, and follow the steps on the pack. Detailed instructions are on every pack — and scan the QR code on the packaging for step-by-step recipe guidance.

For Pastes: your protein or vegetables, oil, and water. For Kits: just your protein — chicken or mutton. Everything else (rice, whole spices, base) is already inside the kit.

Every paste and every kit serves 4 people generously — roughly 2 kg of finished biryani or curry.

20–25 minutes for most products. The exact cook time is printed clearly on every pack.

Yes, with some experimentation. The Chettinad paste works well with prawns or paneer. The Green Chilli paste works with eggs. We keep adding recipe ideas — check the Recipes section on the website.

Each product page shows a spice level. Rough guide: Andhra Green Chilli and Nellore Biryani run hot. Ambur and Donne Biryani are medium. Wedding Biryani is warm and aromatic, not fiery. If cooking for kids or spice-sensitive guests, start with Ambur or Donne.

Ingredients & Quality

No added preservatives. The full ingredient list is on every product page — check before you buy if you have specific dietary requirements.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight before opening. Once opened, refrigerate and use within 7 days.

Yes. Seeraga samba from Tamil Nadu, Andhra chillies from Guntur, and spice blends specific to each dish's origin. The regional provenance is part of what makes the flavour profile accurate.
